Earth Week '09

It's Earth Day Every Day next week. Here is a run down of the exciting campus-wide events:

APRIL 17
Come get your yoga on at the YOGATHON!
There will be FREE FOOD, LIVE MUSIC, a CLIMBING WALL, several STUDENT ORGANIZATIONS, and LOTS of PRIZES. IN THE VALLEY.

APRIL 19
EARTH FAIR at Balboa Park. Take the tram from the UC on Sunday and go down to Fair that attracts 75,000 visitors annually.

APRIL 20
MOVIE SCREENING "FLOW"- Learn about water conservation and other water issues.

APRIL 21
BIKE TO SCHOOL!!! Meet in front of the roller coaster at 7:30 AM or bike,walk, carpool, etc. from your home for free breakfast, raffle prizes, and entry into "most interesting commute" contest.

APRIL 22
FARMERS MARKET! Finally comes to USD. Along with performance by People's Party band in front of the UC at noon.

APRIL 23
"Living in Harmony" Expo with panelists discussing LEED certification of campus buildings as well as other sustainable efforts of the university. UC Forums
